Hi! Thanks for checking out my website. I am a New Jersey based artist and children's book author. I create colorful whimsical paintings to celebrate the beauty of the natural world. My artwork spans a wide range of subject matter but always explores an abundance of bright color, texture, and wonderful nature. My art has been shown in galleries throughout the tri-state area and sold world wide. My current series of paintings focusses on life at the beach, to celebrate my coastal New Jersey upbringing. I recently published my first children's picture book Sweet Dreams Sandcastle in 2023.
100 SHORE THINGS
One Hundred Paintings to Celebrate the Beach Life
In 2022 I completed a series of paintings called 100 Shore Things in which I painted one hundred Jersey Shore themed paintings in 100 days. I have collaborated with local photographers, residents, businesses, and the Point Beach Arts Committee to put this gigantic art project together. The painting process will take place from April 1, 2021 until July 10, 2021.
All of my paintings are created with markers! I use Posca markers, which are an opaque water based ink marker on canvas or wood to create all of my art.
Paintings were be posted daily on my social media, and also shown at live art events throughout the New Jersey Shore area. Each painting celebrates life at the Jersey Shore. I painted everything from the wildlife to the landmarks to the boats to the ice cream!
