The story behind this piece: This painting was inspired by long time best friend. We grew up in the same beach town and then went our separate ways in college. I went to paint, and she went to save the planet. Later she studied sea turtles for her Master’s Degree. Yes she has a million sea turtle decorations and artworks. So I created the original painting and had the image turned into a beach bag for her. Since then, its has been one of my most popular prints. I believe it is because the turtle seems to be saying, “hey friend.” Please contact me with any questions. I do my best to get back to everyone as quickly as possible.
